Mediterra Community Development District
The Mediterra Community Development District is an alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities.
The Mediterra CDD is located on approximately 1,687.87 acres north of Veterans Memorial Boulevard adjacent to Livingston Road/Imperial Parkway and Old 41 Road. The District’s storm water ponds (approximately 200 acres) and preserves (approximately 400 acres) are in Collier and Lee Counties.
The District is responsible for the storm water management system to include the storm water ponds and associated lake banks, drainage pipe system, pond aeration systems, and invasive Cane Toad removal. Preserve management including wild fire prevention mitigation and invasive plant species removal.

The Mediterra Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity established as a result of the merger of the Mediterra North Community Development District into and with the Mediterra South Community Development District, effective June 11, 2018 by Rule Chapter 42QQQ-1, Florida Land and Water Adjudicatory Commission.
